Elizabeth is a graduate of Armstrong State College in Savannah where she received a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She holds a Master of Science – Family Nurse Practitioner from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro.

She previously served as a family nurse practitioner at St. Joseph’s Health Center in Pembroke, Georgia, and at the Hinesville (Ga.) Women’s Clinic. During her career, she held several positions at St. Joseph’s Hospital, including charge/staff nurse, pulmonary case manager, nurse manager, and staff nurse/assistance nurse manager.

Elizabeth is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She joined The Center for Digestive and Liver Health in 2004.
