ATTENTION: Infusion Patients
As of now, there are no plans to scale back infusion services, as the 4 GI societies recommend infusions for patients on immunosuppressive treatments for IBD. All infusion patients will be provided masks upon check-in and immediately brought back to their infusion room by the nurse.
We will do everything we can to keep our IBD patients safe and well during the COVID-19 pandemic. Preventing a flair of your disease is our priority. Our GI societies recommend that you
stay on your maintenance therapy to stay in remission. A flair of your IBD may result in increased risks to you with the need for corticosteroids, additional immunosuppression or hospitalization. Our infusion center is committed to maintaining a safe and functional infusion service throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Please keep your scheduled appointment for your infusions. Contact us immediately if you develop a cough, fever, or GI symptoms concerning for a flair.
